We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Application Developer, based in Brussels.
Main Responsibilities
TASKS DESCRIPTION
The tasks to be performed are the following:
Contributing to the requirement analysis
Analysing new functionalities in the context of the current software package
Developing software services (web services, data-validation screens, reports, document management, …)
Customising existing front end services (web or app format)
Drafting and performing technical studies
Performing technical evaluations
The Ideal Candidate
In order to execute the above-mentioned tasks, the following expertise is required:
Very good knowledge of Java/JEE frameworks (including Hibernate, RichFaces, Xerces) and build tools (notably Spring and Maven) – 5 years’ experience
Very good knowledge of web-service technologies (Axis, …)
Good knowledge of development of application for Android
Good knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs
Good knowledge of Agile methodologies
Basic knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL and PL/SQL
Good writing skills.
Knowledge of Business Process Modelling is an asset.
